RESOLUTION PROJECT

Weza Foundation

BIO

Our social venture project aims to skill teenage mothers in the art of making beautiful and unique craft shoes, jewelry, and bags from African fabric. By harnessing the vibrant colors and patterns of African textiles, we hope to provide a sustainable source of income for these young women and equip them with valuable skills for their future.

With this venture, we plan to have a pilot of 25 beneficiaries in the first year of the operation. We shall have different trainers on board to bring to the team the different expertise needed. Through our project, we seek to inspire and empower teenage mothers in our community to break the cycle of poverty and achieve financial independence. We believe that by investing in their potential and providing them with the tools to succeed, we can make a real difference in the lives of these young women and their families.

As we make these products, our primary target market will be women and men of all age brackets who are fashion-conscious and seek unique, high-quality products. We will market our products through various channels, including social media platforms, e-commerce websites, and local events. In addition, we will offer wholesale services to local boutiques and retail shops in order to raise income for our beneficiaries and for the sustenance of our venture.
