in 2015, Ky founded a venture designed to utilize a closed-loop hydroponic farm system that centers around a bird feeder.  Birds would eat the feed and their byproducts would fall in water that fertilizes plants, including sunflowers (which provide a replenishment to the bird feed) and fruits and vegetables. Ky and his team intended to train economically-disadvantaged families in urban food desert settings to build and operate these systems, generating some diversity in their food supply through this sustainable and innovative technology.
As of August 2018, this venture has not begun work with its target population.
