BioFarm will be collecting organic waste from Farmers in Gihanga, Burundi and convert it into a BioGas to replace traditional, more harfmful, forms of fuels in homes at a lower cost. This is anticipated to reduce harms from the burning of traditional fuels and help to stop deforestation in the region. The waste from the biogas production can then be used as a fertilizer to benefit local farmers.
