Maja has previously completed studies and internships in both Montréal and Dakar, and is currently finishing her BSc in Global Studies and International Development Studies at Roskilde University in Denmark. Since very young, Maja has been strongly interested in processes of global social and political change, which to several community involvements in both Denmark and abroad. Finding that these involvements and local encounters gave her invaluable experience and inspiration, Maja felt that this was something which she wanted to share and pass on. So it should come as no surprise that this is exactly what the initiative Play it On is all about: promoting local encounters across borders through the passing on of sports equipment, Maja aims to not only be a part of, but to lead processes of global social and political change.
