Franck Montcho (Benin) is a Mastercard Foundation scholar at the University of Abomey-Calavi, where he is studying for a degree in renewable energies and energy systems at the Faculty of Science and Technology. An entrepreneur at heart, he initiates projects aimed at creating a social impact around him like Green World Biogas. Green World Biogas is an innovative project that aims to transform organic waste into biogas for clean cooking and produce natural liquid and solid fertilizers to support sustainable agriculture in the commune of Lokossa, Benin. He is also a Peer Coach of Africa Careers Network and ambassador of the Baobab platform at his university. He took part in the Baobab summit 2022 in Rwanda, Kigali; ACN Gathering Network 2023 and the OSCARS Olympiads 2023 in Kenya, Nairobi.
