Godfrey is a dedicated researcher and laboratory technologist with hands-on experience in executing various research projects and internships, including one at Kisenyi Health Center IV under KCCA’s program. He is currently a research fellow intern at Makerere University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources, and Biosecurity. A passionate advocate for public health, youth empowerment, climate change mitigation, and leadership, Godfrey is an EU Global Youth Mobilization Fellow, a BeVisioneer Fellow, and a Resolution Project winner under the MasterCard Foundation 2023, representing MasterCard Foundation Scholars and Makerere University in a social venture competition in Nairobi, Kenya. He is the founder of Hog4Education Uganda, a venture that empowers youth through sustainable piggery farming. Godfrey aspires to advance microbial research addressing public health challenges and establish community-based organizations and affordable, high-quality laboratories to serve undeserved populations.
