Yvette Abizeyimana is a MasterCard Foundation Scholar in her first-year student at EARTH University pursuing her bachelor’s degree in agricultural science and natural resource management. She is a Resolution Project fellowship winner as of June 2017 as the co-founder of Rwanda YouthInitiative for Agricultural Transformation (RYIAT). She is also the founder of Mukobwa Ivugire “girl speak for yourself”, a group that aims at empowering teenage girls with awareness about early pregnancy prevention and molding them into creative and innovative businesspeople. She is striving for a better future by transforming agriculture as a major tool for development and believes that educating women is key to any natiońs growth.
