Syliah Kagiiga is a final year student of Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Geoscience and Production at Makerere University, Uganda. She hails from Rukungiri District in western Uganda. She is passionate about people, life and the environment. Growing up in a local community where the main means of survival had been brick making, she hoped to make a positive change in the lives of her neighbors by transforming the open ditches left after brickmaking into fish farms which is the foundation of SBE Aquafarm. She is a hardworking, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who loves to see everyone happy. Syliah believes in equal opportunity for all and respect for everyone and in her free time, she enjoys to read, travel and cook.
