Samuel A. Diaz Pulgar is currently a senior at Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela, majoring in Estudios Liberales (a combination of History, Philosophy, Politics and Economics). Samuel aspires to pursue a Masters Degree in Public Policy and is the Co-Founder and Director of “Nutriendo El Futuro,” an organization that hopes to alleviate the humanitarian crisis that Venezuela is facing by focusing on empowering communities through the implementation of community kitchens that provide a daily meal to children from 1-10 years to cover their daily calorie intake. Community members are the ones cooking and maintaining the kitchen. As of now, Nutriendo El Futuro has one community kitchen that benefits 82 children.
