Ochaya Emmanuel was born and raised in Jinja, Uganda. He attends Makerere University in Kampala, offering a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Geoscience and Production. He is passionate about Geoscience and ICT and how it can be used to solve challenges affecting different societies in the world.

He is a co-founder of SBE Aquafarm, a social venture aimed at improving the livelihood of people in rural communities through fish farming. He believes in equal opportunities for everybody and by starting this social venture, he aims at bringing the community close together, through teaching them new skills in aquaculture that can be of economic benefit to the people. This way, they will be able to sustain their families and afford the education of their children.
