Manuel studies business economics at Universidad Metropolitana. He is interested in finance and philosophy and his passions include sports and entrepreneurship. He works at Solfin Group, a brokerage firm in his country, and is founding a health food restaurant called Crop. The difficulties Venezuela is going through have made him develop a keen sense of social responsibility since his childhood. He has taught mathematics, Spanish, and English in Petare since his last years at school. Manuel is co-founder and finance coordinator of Bienestar Familiar, he hopes to extrapolate his academic knowledge to generate impact in the neediest communities. He is a true believer in the multiplier effect that social projects have in the long term and believes that financial literacy can change lives.
