Bruno Gbodjivi is a third-year student in Renewable Energies and Energy Systems at the University of Abomey-Calavi. Passionate about social entrepreneurship, he has been a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at UAC since 2019. This scholarship allowed him to turn social problems into profitable business ideas. Enthusiastic about the recovery of waste into energy, Bruno creates with
his pairs Smile Waste, a start-up specialized in the development of sustainable energy solutions for grassroots communities by recycling waste.

Self-confidence and perseverance are the words that characterize Bruno. A fairly rich associative life, he was a peer educator in the Reproductive Health of Adolescents and Young. This was his first experience as a volunteer leader. Since 2019, he has been a member of the Rotaract club (Partner of Rotary International) Cotonou Locomotive Ganhi, where he has held positions of great responsibility.
