Ekky Hardiyanto was born in Pasuruan, Indonesia in 1995. He is currently majoring in civil engineering department at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia. He is focused on studying material engineering and transportation systems. He is involved in his lecturer’s research team to find any alternative materials in infrastructure and he is working on the research of cement and asphalt using waste material. Ekky is also actively involved in Model United Nations and debate club since his first year in college. And, he fortunately won some awards in national level in MUN competition. As an engineering student he found MUN is an essential activity to support his soft skills, for example leadership and diplomacy, such skills which are hardly found in the engineering world.
