Ashley is currently studying Medicine at McGill University. Ashley’s interest in advocating and public speaking began after founding the first international chapter of Project HEAL, an international organization that provides funding for individuals affected by an eating disorder who can not afford treatment, and that promotes healthy body image. She was the Youth Lead and a Principal Applicant on ACCESS-Canada, a 5-year, $25 million research initiative jointly funded by the Graham Boeckh Foundation and CIHR, which aims to transform the delivery of mental health services for young Canadians aged 11-25 experiencing mental illness over a 5-year period. She is a fellow of the Resolution Project, an organization dedicated to fostering youth leadership development around the world through collaborative social and entrepreneurship. She has spoken at many events, such as the 2014 Unleash the Noise Student Summit. Ashley has been featured in numerous media outlets such as MuchMusic’s New Music Live, CJAD 800, Montreal Families, the Suburban, and others.
