Shantel Marekera is a Rhodes scholar pursuing a degree in Jurisprudence/Law at the University of Oxford after graduating summa cum laude with a masters degree in Justice Studies at Arizona State University where she was a MasterCard Foundation scholar.  She advises UN Women on youth issues in her role as a member of the policy committee in the Beijing+25 Youth Taskforce. Shantel currently serves as the Country Director for Zimbabwe with the Global Peace Chain.  She is a Resolution Project Fellow and an alumni of the Millennium Fellowship; a joint partnership between the Millennium Campus Network and  United Nations Academic Impact.
