Paiva Sipaneque is the founder of FACULTEC, a social organization that helps Mozambican students prepare for and navigate the entire university application process abroad. His enterprise is a product of the challenges he went through while seeking educational opportunities in anglophone countries as a non-English language speaker, which constitutes a major challenge for students in Mozambique. He is currently pursuing a double major in Business Finance and Accounting from the American University of Beirut, where he dedicates most of his time to various volunteering and social entrepreneurship activities that help him exercise his passion for social change and leadership. Outside academic and professional environment, Paiva enjoys doing acrobatics, drawing and making illustrations, filmmaking, and learning computer software. That’s why many organizations he has worked with also have always admired his skills in branding and advertising.
