Justine graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University Class of 2017 with a degree in Management Economics and a thesis specialization in Social Entrepreneurship. She is the president and founder of PAMANA Philippines, a social venture that aids subsistent indigenous communities and rural farmers achieve food security through the practice of sustainable agriculture and improved crop selection, irrigation, and solid waste management. This idea came from her experiences working with environmentalist groups in the Philippines and her involvement with mountaineering organizations. Justine now works in investment banking, and continues to contribute towards building a sustainable society that is inclusive and engaging especially to marginalized and underrepresented sectors like indigenous and ethnic peoples. A nature lover and environmentalist at heart, when she is not working, she enjoys scuba diving, hiking and spending time outdoors, and wall-climbing.
