Juan is a 5th year medical student at Universidad Central de Venezuela. He was born and raised in Caracas. Juan is fluent in Spanish, his native language, English, French and German. During the first 4 years of his career, Juan enrolled himself in a variety of extension groups that enabled him develop as a student leader. He has been a member of the UCV Harvard National MUN Delegation for four years in a row; the third year having the honor of serving as its Head Delegate and the fourth year serving as its Faculty Advisor. He became part of the Scientific Society of Medicinal Students in 2014 where he has presented clinical cases of importance in its different congresses. Juan has also participated in Clinical Observerships in the Jackson Memorial Hospital at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. His passion revolves around helping others and educating the people around him to enable them to attain a better future and in addition, he finds a passion for academic research and the progress of science like no other. He hopes to make of this venture, a major part of his professional and personal life.
