Isabel H. Gonzalez-Bocco is currently a 6th-year medical student at Universidad Central de Venezuela. She participated in Model United Nations for 3 consecutive years (2 of them as the head Delegate), while actively participating in multiple health organizations that aim to help remote and rural communities to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela. Currently, as Co-Founder of E-ROQ (Education Los Roques) , she has decided to reach one more community to teach 60 children from 9 to 12 years old, English. The reason behind this is that Los Roques is one of the most touristic places in Venezuela, but its population lacks the opportunity to learn the international language, therefore, tourism is poorly exploited for economic sustainability and mainly by foreigners who invest their profits outside of the island. Unifying the MUN community, E-ROQ wishes to provide to “Los Roqueños” the tool to overcome this situation.
