Felicity Yeboah Dokyi is an aspiring physician-scientist and currently a final year MBCHB candidate at the University of Ghana Medical School. She is an alumna of the Kufuor Scholars’ Program, a three-year leadership program under the John Agyekum Kufour Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative University. She is also a Research Fellow, African Research Academies for Women. She is a native of Akyem Bomaain the Atiwa-West District in the Eastern region of Ghana. As a step towards contributing her quota to the development of Ghana, she is championing good menstrual hygiene management among adolescent girls, especially in rural areas in Ghana, being a co-founder and Project coordinator of Menarche Initiative. She seeks to help young people, especially women to maximize their potentials to promote sustainable socio-economic development in Ghana and Africa as a whole
