Miryim Hanek attends the University of Michigan-Dearborn and is pursuing a major in accounting. In high school, Miryim served as vice president of a club called Peer to Peer which aims to break down any barriers a student may have that limits their level of comfort in school, essentially promoting an inclusive environment for everyone. This club encouraged Miryim to continue to make a difference for students, specifically girls, after graduating. As a first-generation college student and a child of immigrants, she strives to help other girls who may have encountered the same issues she has regarding higher education or simply self-development. A Girl’s Dream will help Miryim achieve her goal of encouraging other women to follow their dreams and excel in everything they set their mind to
