Mercy, a dedicated student at United States International University – Africa (USIU-A), is pursuing her passion for public health through a major in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in Nairobi, Kenya. Her enthusiasm extends beyond the classroom, as she actively engages in research projects and community initiatives, demonstrating a hands-on approach to her goal. Mercy also channels her passion into improving potato cultivation among small-scale farmers in Africa, recognizing the transformative potential of sustainable agriculture. Collaborating closely with local communities, she implements innovative approaches to enhance potato growth and empower farmers economically. Through Africa Potato Giants project, she envisions a future where small-scale farmers thrive, fostering not only sustainable farming practices but also contributing to the broader goal of uplifting communities and creating positive change in the agricultural landscape.
