Maame Efua Yamoawah Essel is a CAMFED-Ghana MasterCard Foundation scholar who recently graduated from the University of Cape Coast. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies(major) and a minor in French and Classics and Philosophy. She was the Ag. Vice President for the Communication Studies Students Association (COMSA) and doubled as the secretary for the Institute of Public Relations- University of Cape Coast chapter
She is knowledgeable and has a keen interest in Advertising, Public Relations strategies, and Journalism.
Currently, Maame Efua is a Service Person at the Directorate of Public Affairs and as well on a one-year apprenticeship with Awake Fashions Ghana; where she is into the creating, designing, and making of apparels for all corporate and social events. Being passionate about mentorship, youth development, and gender advocacy, she is a member of the Impart Foundation and GloKennies Foundation. Both are social enterprises that seek to improve the lives of young people through literacy, technology, entrepreneurship, mentorship programs, and career guidance. Maame Efua is a 2019 exchange program student at SciencesPo, France (Reims Campus).
