BIO

Katelynd is a first-generation college student from Jacksonville, Florida. She is passionate about prosperity of people and improvement of quality of life for others. She has dedicated much of her time throughout her undergraduate career to community service and campus involvement. She founded a non-profit organization, Gainesville Reads Inc, to help empower literacy in her community. She wants to dedicate her life to the healthcare field and finding ways to better serve people. Her venture was created to tie in multiple facets of life: nutrition, agriculture, sustainability, and community empowerment. Katelynd currently serves on three student organization executive boards, two University committees and a city of Gainesville board. In her spare time, Katelynd loves to read. Resolution Fellowship has empowered her to make the impact in the community that she truly wants to see.
