Florence Namubiru is a MasterCard Foundation scholar in her fourth year completing her Bachelors of Science in software engineering at Makerere University. She is the Co-Founder of Women Income Network (WIN) an organization aiming at empowering female household heads economically through maggot farming. She is currently the Inspector General of Governance at the college of computing and information sciences at Makerere University and an active member of the Rotaract club of Makerere University. Florence is passionate about solving problems using technology, giving back, leadership, sustainable development, empowering other people, and Agriculture. She has a dream of setting up a foundation to equip street kids with practical skills, teach them basic math and English, and discover and promote their talents as a way of improving their lives.
