The Flow Initiative

The Flow Initiative will provide education about menstruation and reusable sanitary pads for impoverished girls in Zimbabwe. The educational program will de-stigmatize the issue of menstruation and will promote the use of a sustainable and eco-friendly solution.

Green Light

Thomas Uhler aims to combat the negative effects of climate change by creating and distributing bioluminescent plants that produce light naturally with no carbon emissions. His for-profit venture, Green Light, will use these plants to reduce utility bills and provide new and eco-friendly lighting in “off the grid” locations.
