Travis Batty is Vice President and Counsel at Deutsche Bank. Before joining Deutsche, Travis served as an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP’s New York office and practices in the firm’s Capital Markets group. Travis is a graduate of Harvard College in 2002 with a degree in economics and attended the University of Virginia School of Law, graduating in 2005. He has spent his legal career at Sidley as both a Summer Associate and Associate. Travis practices in the areas of corporate and securities law, focusing on structured transactions and liability management. Prior to joining Sidley Austin, Travis worked in a number of roles in the national security sphere. He has also authored an economics primer for high school students.
