Marko Soldo is a former Managing Director and voting member of the Investment Committee of the Blackstone Strategic Opportunity Fund (BSOF). BSOF is the world’s largest opportunistic evergreen fund. He has spent the bulk of his career at the Blackstone Group funds: he was the head of Europe and special situations at Magnetar Capital and an associate in private equity at BC Partners—both firms are part owned by Blackstone.

He previously founded and ran UFP Aquilor Capital, a special situations platform financing sports, media and entertainment companies. Marko speaks seven languages and graduated with an honors B.A. from Harvard University. While in college, he organized Harvard World Model United Nations conferences together with Resolution’s co-founders Oliver, George and Howard.
