Jennifer Cattaui is Founder and CEO of Babesta, the premier children’s lifestyle retailer dedicated to city families. For over 19 years, she’s led Babesta’s flagship store in Tribeca, as well as its e-comm site and award-winning editorial offerings. A lawyer by education, she started her career as a tax law consultant at Ernst and Young, with a focus on banking clients, and later moved into the media sector, working as Executive Editor and Editor in Chief for several B-2-B and B-2-C fashion and lifestyle publications.  More recently, she held a year-long fellowship at venture capital firm, Alumni Ventures Group, in an effort to gain deeper insight into “the other side of the table” and focused on the blockchain space. She currently sits on the Global Blockchain Business Council’s GSMI Taxonomy Working Group assisting an effort to organize terminology in this fast-changing space. She also volunteers at BUILD, an organization engaging high school students through entrepreneurship, and serves as a mentor at CSI-Tech, CUNY’s Tech incubator.  Jennifer earned her BA from Tufts University and JD from Rutgers University.
