Astin Thomas has 15 years of global technology leadership experience and is Chief Digital Officer of Sunbelt Solomon, the nation’s largest sustainable power & utility distribution equipment service provider. Together with his teams, Astin is responsible for the organization’s marketing strategy, branding, and digital business development channel. Additionally, Thomas is responsible for Sunbelt Solomon’s information technology strategy, cybersecurity, and manufacturing & field services technology. Thomas is a member of Sunbelt Solomon’s executive leadership team.

Across his career, Astin has architected and led programs encompassing security frameworks, cyber and physical security, privacy, and accounting systems integrity. He also has broad experience with region-specific security, privacy, financial, and taxation requirements of India, China, Russia, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. Astin was a resident of the United Kingdom for five years, where he was the inaugural Chief Information Officer for KBC, the digital solutions subsidiary of Yokogawa Electric Corporation, a large Japanese industrial automation corporation.

Astin holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University, a Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity from The George Washington University, and is an Executive MBA Candidate at Yale University. Thomas also holds CISSP and CISM information security certifications.
