WorldMUN 2020 Virtual SVC Winners

On June 28th, we welcomed six new Social Venture Challenge Winners to our Resolution Community from our WorldMun Social Venture Challenge. Congratulations to the following teams for winning their Fellowships: 

CurabitMumbai, India

Rishabh Nanawati & Aman Sariya

Curabit will develop virtual reality simulations to be used in exposure therapy under the supervision of a mental health professional. These simulations will be more effective than traditional exposure therapy, and will be designed specifically for an Indian market.  

Heritage Charity FoundationSunyani, Ghana

Elizabeth Adikah

Elizabeth and her team will be providing skills training and supplies for unemployed women in rural Ghana to grow organic vegetables – providing food for their families and supplemental income from the sale of the excess produce.  

Light BlueMumbai, India

Aditya Jain

Light Blue is a mentorship program that will connect retirees, who often face loneliness, and college students, who are in need of mentorship and guidance.  

TavishiMumbai, India

Harshula Jhala & Ayan Ray

Tavishi aims to increase safety for children by providing personal safety programs – including self-defense, anti-harassment, and sexual abuse prevention workshops – in Mumbai schools.
