The New African Project will create a social innovation incubator for young entrepreneurs in Africa. Based in Accra, the incubator will have a physical location with access to computers and internet, as well as crosspollination of ideas and training, with metrics and results-based analysis of the members. The venture will develop a sustainable financial model by charging a modest fee to participants, giving young entrepreneurs on college campuses in Accra and beyond a well-equipped place to launch their socially-responsible efforts. Bernard is an inspiring young Ghanaian, who founded his own business, but learned from this experience how scarce the resources and ecosystems are for entrepreneurs across Africa.
