HHESCO is an enterprise that provides environmentally friendly, micro-flush toilets to low-income earners, landlords and community groups and supports them with a flexible payment system. The toilet also generates usable compost which can be sold for a new income stream. Recently, the venture built a seven-unit toilet facility for the Berekuso Basic Schools, which have about 1,000 students. It also built a stand-alone toilet for the Educare Early Childhood Development Center, which serves about 54 children.
