This venture will connect college-aged volunteers with elderly people in China to provide support and a connection to the younger generation.  China’s family-centric culture is changing as more young people leave the country or move to the cities.  This leaves elderly parents alone in their homes with a limited capacity to care for themselves, suffering from physical and mental ailments.  The venture will produce short films to raise awareness of the problem and the volunteering opportunity, and will match volunteers with the elderly.
