Yulkendy Valdez is a Forbes 30 under 30 social entrepreneur and public speaker. While studying business at the #1 school of entrepreneurship, Babson College, she co-founded a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion consultancy, Forefront. For 5 years, Forefront worked with leading organizations, including SAP, Accenture, Boston University, and San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, while receiving investment from top accelerators such as Techstars. She speaks on global stages from Lyon to St. Gallen on the Future of Work, Women of Color in Technology, Mentorship and Sponsorship, and Diversifying the Start-up and Venture Capital Ecosystem. With roots in St. Louis, Missouri, she has traveled to 40+ countries for work and fun. She now calls Brooklyn, NY home. She is currently a consultant and coach for leading entrepreneurial organizations supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs and investors / funders, including Blue Ridge Labs (Robin Hood Foundation) Camelback Ventures, and 4.0 Schools.
