Shan is Senior Manager with Risk and Information Management at American Express based in New York. During her tenure with American Express, Shan manages a wide range of fraud and credit risk strategy using advanced statistical approach and big data analytics. Shan is passionate with helping others and supporting career development. She serves as an active lead in Professional Orientation and Development Network (POD) at American Express. Previously, Shan worked with Healthcare Risk Management group at Verisk Analytics, where she was responsible for new product research and development and leveraging machine learning techniques and data analytics. Shan graduated from Harvard University with a master degree focused on Statistics and Management, and she also holds a master degree in Information Management from Peking University in China. During her free time, Shan enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
