Sam is a Software Engineer at Microsoft’s Office 365 group in Redmond, WA where he specializes in developing cloud applications for OneDrive and SharePoint Online. He owns technology that manages the lifecycle of virtual machines across the Office 365 datacenters globally, without causing customer downtime. In the past he also developed technology for early detection of potentially customer impacting issues resulting from SharePoint Online upgrades and security patching across the Office 365 datacenters. Sam earned his AB in Computer Science from Harvard University where he served as Under-Secretary General for WorldMUN 2006, and Masters in Information and Data Science from University of California, Berkeley.
