Michael is currently pursuing a master’s degree from NYU Wagner, specializing in Social Impact, Innovation & Investment. Previously, Michael was Senior Director of Finance at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) where he was responsible for team development and deliverables such as the monthly financial close package, quarterly board presentations and quantifying the impact of strategic business initiatives. He also led the transition to cloud-based financial planning to decentralize and streamline the budget process. Before joining GLG, Michael worked at JetBlue Airways in various finance capacities, including preparing earnings guidance, long-range planning, fuel hedging and supporting both Commercial and Technical Operations divisions with forecasting and investment diligence. While at JetBlue, he also supported the Flight Safety Foundation, an international nonprofit dedicated to aviation safety. Michael started his career as a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton on the Business Analytics team working with the Department of Defense. He holds a BA in Economics from Binghamton University and had his undergraduate thesis published by the National Bureau of Economic Research.
