Greg Ness is the Assistant General Counsel at FLS Energy, Inc., a solar energy development company focused on developing utility scale solar energy assets throughout the United States. Additionally, Greg is the General Counsel and a minority owner of Noble Cider, LLC a rapidly expanding hard cider company that recently opened a successful taproom in 2015, as well as for Empyrean Arts, LLC, an aerial arts studio in Asheville, NC. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for MountainTrue, a Southeastern U.S. based nonprofit dedicated to sustainable growth throughout the region and conservationism. Greg graduated cum laude from Auburn University with a B.S. in Biomedical Science. He also graduated with honors from Tulane University with a M.S. in Molecular Biology, as well as from Vermont Law School with a dual degree in Environmental Law and Environmental Science. Prior to coming to Asheville he worked as an attorney for the top commercial real estate law firm in the Southeast, and as a law clerk at the Environmental Protection Administration in Washington D.C. Additionally, he co-founded a biomass firm based in Aachen, Germany and a residential solar company in Dakar, Senegal
