Greg Behrman is the Founder and CEO of NationSwell, a social impact media company dedicated to powering the solutions and innovations that will move our country forward. NationSwell advances that mission through a digital media platform that tells authentic human stories about problem-solvers and innovators (reached nearly 400M people last year), the NationSwell Council a membership community of more than 600 leaders and problem-solvers who share a passion for service, taking action around solutions and supporting each other (based in NYC, the Bay Area, DC, Boston, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles), and an Impact Studio focused on supporting mission-aligned companies, foundations and not-for-profits (Starbucks, Comcast, Seventh Generation, the Nature Conservancy, and more). Behrman was also the founder and Director of The CT Heroes Project, which has made big strides in veteran homelessness in CT. Behrman served a one year military deployment in Afghanistan, served for several years in the Policy Planning Staff at the US State Department, and is the author of two books (one on the Marshall Plan and one on the U.S. response to AIDS in Africa). He lives in Fairfield, CT with his wife Caitlin, a nurse, and his two children Claire and Tyler.
