Grace Nakirijja Lwanga is a Ugandan gender and development specialist with over 24 years of experience in program design, advocacy, and implementation across development and humanitarian sectors. She serves as the President of TERREWODE and CEO of the Chapter for Empowerment and Rights Uganda (CERU). Grace has led initiatives promoting gender equality, reproductive justice, and women’s economic empowerment. Her work integrates gender-transformative, survivor-centered, and rights-based approaches, empowering women and girls affected by gender-based violence and maternal health challenges. She is also a member of the global Women Waging Peace network and SRHR & Climate Justice Coalition.
