Since 2015, Ganesh Swaminathan has been a strategy and management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. He works with Fortune 500 companies across industries such as energy, retail, and technology, advising them from traditional growth strategies to front/back-end digital strategies. Prior to BCG, Ganesh completed his MS in Chemical Engineering at Stanford University, specializing in energy. During his time there, he was also involved with the Stanford d.school, employing design thinking to sanitation problems in Indian villages. It was during this time that Ganesh spent close to a month at a village in India, exchanging learnings with villagers and volunteers alike. Prior to graduate school, Ganesh got his BS in Chemical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. While Ganesh has been in the US for almost a decade, his family and home is still in Singapore and India. He spends his free time playing squash, going to art museums, and reading Calvin and Hobbes!
