Ericka is a Panamanian civil engineer, social entrepreneur, and youth advocate whose work connects education, sustainable infrastructure, public policy, and community development. Guided by her faith in God, a strong sense of purpose, and a belief in the power of new beginnings, she has been engaged in education and youth advocacy since the age of 16, when she served as national student representative in Panama’s National Dialogue for Education.
She co-founded ¡Préndelo! Panamá and remains actively engaged with Jóvenes Unidos por la Educación, where she advances youth participation and mentors emerging changemakers through the Latin American Laboratory for Citizen Action (LLAC). Across her technical and social-impact work, Ericka is particularly interested in how education, water, infrastructure, and public policy can expand equitable access to opportunity and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive community.
A Resolution Fellow since 2021, she now serves as a Fellow Representative on the Resolution Project Council, giving back to the community that supported ¡Préndelo! Panamá and her own journey, while helping strengthen the voice and experience of Fellows globally. Ultimately, Ericka hopes to use her profession, advocacy, and service as tools to help create opportunities and contribute to a better Panama and world.
