Prof. Emily Sitienei (PhD) is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Counseling at the School of Education, Department of Educational Psychology, Moi University, Kenya. She completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa in January 2018. She has worked as mentor for the youth, orphaned and vulnerable children, counselled and rehabilitated street children, mentored youth who abuses drugs and substances, and assisted youth to start beekeeping and others to create seedbeds to grow seedlings for coffee, tea and avocados for sale. She is a researcher, teacher, mentor, counselor, psychologist, motivational speaker, and mediator.
