Edna Addo is an MBA student at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. Before starting business school, she worked for about 6 years at UBS Investment Bank in both New York and London. She was born and raised in Ghana, where during senior high school and shortly after, and was the Youth President of the Eastern Region chapter of the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG). She was eventually elected as co-treasurer of the PPAG at the national level. Edna moved to the US to pursue joint undergraduate degrees in Business Management/Finance and Economics at Stony Brook University, NY, graduating magna cum laude. While pursuing her undergraduate degrees, Edna initiated and ran student chapters of 2 national organizations: SIFE, now called ENACTUS and the NYSSA (New York Society of Security Analysts), now called the CFA Institute. She also interned as an Equity Research analyst at the Harvest Management LLC, a hedge fund in New York. Edna is a member of the CFA Society NY and a Forte Fellow.
