David has enjoyed a long and varied career in banking, credit management and lending. Most recently, he spent a number of years as senior portfolio manager at Primus Guaranty where he was responsible for managing large diversified portfolios of credit derivatives.
Prior to that time, David worked in a variety of positions for the Dresdner Bank group in New York and Frankfurt. After making an early career in credit and lending, he became part of Dresdner’s north american management team with primary responsibility for business origination. He also served as a member of the North American credit committee, later becoming chief credit officer for North America.
Aside from his business career, David has had an active involvement in voluntary community activities. In the early 1990s , David was selected as one of 7 “David Rockefeller Fellows” which is a one year program organized by the New York City Partnership, to inform and engage people from the business community in the various issues facing New York City. He has also been a member of the Board of the United Neighborhood Houses for over 20 years. UNH is an association of 38 New York City settlement houses which provide community based services to over 500,000 New Yorkers.
David is a graduate of Williams College and earned an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
