David Gruner is a member of Deloitte Global public policy team, where he focuses on building strategic relationships with policymakers and other key stakeholder groups to foster dialogue on select issues that reinforce trust and confidence and promote growth and opportunity. David’s areas of focus are particularly concentrated on areas related to regulation and trade, as well as the Asia-Pacific region. David is a board member of the National Center for APEC. David started with Deloitte in May 2007.
Before joining Deloitte, David worked on European affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. David has also been a law lecturer at Örebro University (Sweden) and worked at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Brussels and New York. David has a degree in European Union law from Leeds University (UK) and Uppsala University (Sweden). He holds a Bachelor’s in political science from Union College (New York).
