Caroline is currently working as Program Manager at Ashoka in Switzerland. Previously, she was consulting in the Strategic Initiatives team at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, where she participated in cross-cutting team projects to design strategies and facilitate the change processes within the organisation to better serve the mission promoting immunisation programs in developing countries. She has over six years of international experience in finance and economic development and is deeply interested in inclusive finance, social entrepreneurship, program evaluation, and innovative market-based interventions with the aim of reducing poverty and inequality. Caroline started her career at General Electric where she worked four years in financial analysis in Paris, London and Stockholm. She also held short term positions at UNDP in Vietnam, Foundation Escalera in Chiapas, Mexico, Enterprise Solutions to Poverty in New York and Grameen Bank in Bangladesh. In her free time in 2013, she led the organisation of the first TEDx conference at the School of International and Public Affairs of Columbia University in New York around the theme ‘A Better World’ featuring 24 speakers sharing their views on how to make the world happier, safer, healthier and fairer. Caroline holds a double Master in Management from ESCP Europe and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.
