Brittany Barnes manages fundraising and philanthropic endeavors for non-profits focused on social development and environmental education. Brittany received her Master of Arts from Arcadia University in International Peace and Conflict Resolution. Her research mainly focused on hunger issues in advanced democracies and she completed the majority of her research at the United Nations mandated University for Peace in El Rodeo, Costa Rica. Brittany now is an independent contractor for youth education and environmental sustainability focused non-profits. She sits on the Associate Board for Changing Worlds, an arts education focused organization in Chicago and frequently volunteers with the American Cancer Society and . She currently lives and works in Chicago where she enjoys long bike rides and Mexican food with her partner, Shane.
