Betsy Feuerstein is the Press Assistant for the Clinton Foundation, where she prepares President Clinton’s briefings and daily news clips, and handles media requests regarding the Foundation. She joined the Foundation following the 2012 US presidential election, during which she worked as a Field Organizer in Iowa for the Obama campaign. Since 2011 she has also worked as a research assistant in the Northwestern University Political Science department, on a project examining the role of religious actors in politics and governance in sub-Saharan Africa. Betsy graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern, with a B.A. in Political Science and Art History. She grew up in London, UK, to Swedish and American parents, when to high school in New York, lived Israel for a year before college, and studied abroad in Senegal, where she returned to conduct research for her honors thesis on political graffiti and democratic consolidation. She is fluent in French, and is working to improve her Wolof and Hebrew.
